PRAY THE MISSION ROSARY
Instructional as well as Inspirational CD
For more than 500 years people have prayed the Rosary. In 1950, Bishop Fulton J. Sheen composed the World Mission Rosary to help Catholics focus their prayers on the intentions of the missions and to remember the needs of all our brothers and sisters around the world.
The Lay Mission-Helpers Association has gone one step further by offering a modern interactive CD prayer experience, featuring all four mysteries of the Rosary: Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious.
While viewers pray along with missionaries and lovers of the missions, beads light up to guide them through the decades. Nearly 200 mission photos give viewers a firsthand experience of mission fields past and present and the dedicated laymen and laywomen who toil in them. Reflections on a mission theme are offered for each mystery of every decade. (The CD can also be viewed in a silent mode.)
Jesus gave humankind his mother Mary to show that we all belong to one worldwide family. Mary gave us her Rosary to pray for our global family. You can support lay missioners who have devoted part of their lives to serving the poorest members of our family.
